BOSTON, MA, UNITED STATES, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Doc Wayne today announced the appointment of Rebekah Roulier, LMHC, as Executive Director. Recognized locally and nationally for over 16 years for her advocacy in work at the intersection of youth mental health and sport. Roulier assumes the role as the organization’s second-ever Executive Director, after serving as the organization’s Managing Director.
Throughout her 16-year tenure at Doc Wayne, Roulier has helped establish the organization as a national leader in using sport to make mental health support more accessible and engaging for young people, while advancing inclusive, trauma-informed outpatient care. Under her direction, Doc Wayne has broadened its scope beyond its pioneering sport-based therapy to include comprehensive outpatient clinical mental health services for youth, adults, and families. Her leadership has earned numerous accolades, including the New England Revolution’s “Hero of the Match” (2024) and recognition from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
