Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to compile the list, surveying thousands of U.S. insurance customers on their overall satisfaction and likelihood to recommend their provider to friends and family. Respondents also rated insurers across several subdimensions, including financial advice, customer service, price-to-performance ratio, transparency, digital services, and claims/benefit handling. A loyalty score, based on how long customers have stayed with their insurer and how likely they are to continue, was also factored into the rankings.
