Alpine Psychiatry provides FDA-cleared TMS therapy through its Devon, PA partner location for adults with treatment-resistant depression.
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Alpine Psychiatry, a clinician-owned and operated psychiatric practice headquartered in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, evaluates and connects appropriate patients with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) as part of its mental health services for patients living with depression. TMS treatment is administered in person through our sister practice, Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry, in Devon, Pennsylvania, and we coordinate ongoing care as appropriate.
TMS is a non-invasive medical treatment that uses magnetic pulses designed to stimulate nerve cells in the brain, increase electrical activity and support communication between different regions of the brain. TMS does not use medication as its treatment mechanism and is intended to more precisely target areas associated with depression symptoms.
The service may be considered for patients whose depression has not responded adequately to traditional antidepressant treatment. We emphasize individualized clinical review before TMS treatment begins. Our team and the Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry team review a patient’s medical history and current medications to determine whether TMS is appropriate and to address treatment questions.
A typical TMS session includes:
• The patient is seated in a treatment chair before a technician positions the TMS cap.
• A magnetic coil inside the cap delivers magnetic pulses that may feel like light tapping and produce a clicking sound.
• Each session takes approximately 30 minutes.
• Patients can drive home and resume normal activities after a session.
• Treatment is typically performed five days per week over a six-week period.
TMS sessions are administered at our sister practice, Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry, 400 W Lancaster Ave., Devon, PA 19333. TMS may be covered by many insurance plans, depending on individual benefits and authorization requirements, and the team can assist patients with questions about coverage and benefit verification.
Our broader approach considers more than presenting symptoms when developing treatment options. We consider family history, contextual factors, treatment history, and lifestyle factors as part of our approach to psychiatric care.
Patient feedback provided by Alpine Psychiatry also reflects experiences with our broader psychiatric services. Sean M. said, “Just after one session, I feel that she had a great understanding of my struggles and developed a good plan to get me back on my feet. I am excited to continue to work with her and develop a plan to feel like myself again.”
Brian K. said, “After a long six months, I was able to find what I would call the perfect doctor. The outstanding bedside manner, and reciprocation of trust seems really hard to come by. I also find the Spruce method of communicating to function really well.”
Maya S. said, “I’ve had several psychiatric providers before and this was the first time I have ever met with a psychiatric provider who I felt actually listened to me and what I was there for. The scheduling process was smooth, everyone was responsive and kind. Highly recommend”
In addition to TMS, we provide psychiatric medication management and therapy services and connect appropriate patients with interventional psychiatry treatments, including TMS and SPRAVATO® (esketamine), administered through our sister practice, Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry, in Devon, Pennsylvania. Our services are provided to patients through different care formats depending on location.
In Pennsylvania, we provide in-person and virtual psychiatric services as well as virtual therapy. Patients in New Jersey can access in-person and virtual psychiatric services as well as virtual therapy, while patients in New York and Delaware can access virtual psychiatric services. TMS is specifically administered in person at the Devon, Pennsylvania location through our sister practice, Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry.
We have providers who work with children, adolescents and adults, with eligibility depending on the selected provider and current intake criteria. Our psychiatric services include evaluation and treatment for conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety and schizophrenia. David Danish, MD, serves as Founder & Chief Medical Officer.
