Louis J. Torchio, President and CEO, Northwest Bancshares commented, “The Northwest Team delivered yet another quarter of strong performance, with record total revenue and net interest income, and a balanced and consistent performance across the whole bank. In the third quarter we opened our first two financial centers in Columbus, added talent in the Columbus market and to our senior leadership team, and maintained our expense management discipline, with an efficiency ratio of 58.9% and adjusted efficiency ratio of 57.8%. We were also recognized in Forbes’ World’s Top Performing Banks 2026.

We look forward to a strong finish in the fourth quarter of 2026, as we build on the momentum the team is developing in Columbus and across our entire retail footprint and commercial network. Our focus remains on driving excellence across all aspects of the bank, continuing to optimize our operations, and serving our core customers and communities with the personal approach they value.”
