Metabolic Supply Group Brings Lab Testing and Physician Oversight to Metabolic and Peptide Care
PR Newswire
BRIDGEWATER, N.J., Oct. 19, 2026
MSG integrates multiple specimen collection methods, including at-home self-collection, mobile phlebotomy, and walk-in labs, supporting providers in delivering patient-centered care.
BRIDGEWATER, N.J., Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Metabolic Supply Group (MSG), the administrative services organization that connects wellness providers to a vetted national network of licensed compounding pharmacies, today announced a partnership with a healthcare infrastructure company whose platform connects providers to a nationwide network of CLIA-certified laboratories.
The integration brings lab ordering, specimen collection, and results into MSG’s provider platform. Med spas, longevity clinics, and telehealth practices in the MSG network can now work up, treat, and monitor patients in one workflow.
Closing the Gap Between Prescribing and Clinical Care
Demand for metabolic, hormone, and peptide therapies has grown faster than the clinical infrastructure around them. Much of the market still runs on transactional care: a short intake, a prescription, and little baseline testing or follow-up.
Providers who want to practice differently run into practical barriers. Lab accounts are fragmented, retail lab pricing leads patients to skip testing, and results arrive outside the tools the practice already uses.
The partnership removes those barriers. Providers in the MSG network gain:
- Panels built for this patient population. More than 40 panels cover hormone, thyroid, metabolic, cardiac and lipid, inflammation, and longevity markers, plus testosterone therapy baseline and follow-up kits, mobile phlebotomy, or walk-in labs.
- Three ways to collect. Patients can use an at-home self-collection device shipped to their door, book a mobile phlebotomy visit, or walk into a national lab service center.
- All orders and results are overseen by licensed physicians across all 50 states, with independent physicians issuing orders, reviewing results, and following up, while practices with their own clinicians can order under their own physicians.
- Network-based pricing encourages providers to prioritize thorough patient monitoring, making comprehensive care more accessible and affordable for patients.
- Results in the workflow. Orders and results move through MSG’s platform, so the provider sees labs next to the treatment plan.
MSG does not practice medicine or dispense medication. Clinical decisions remain with licensed providers, laboratory testing is performed by independent CLIA-certified laboratories, and physician services are delivered by independent, licensed physicians.
“Too much metabolic and peptide care today is a transaction: a short intake, a prescription, and no labs before or after,” said Alaa Salem, DrPH, MBA, MS, founder and CEO of Metabolic Supply Group. “Our providers want to practice better medicine than that. What has held them back is access and cost. With this partnership, a practice of any size can order a baseline, treat to the numbers, and monitor over time, at pricing their patients can afford.”
“MSG was built to take friction out of the supply side of this industry,” Salem added. “This partnership does the same for the clinical side. Patients on these therapies deserve a provider who knows their labs, and providers deserve infrastructure that makes that the easy path.”
Lab ordering will roll out to MSG network providers beginning November 15th, 2026. Providers can learn more at metabolicsupplygroup.com or by contacting their MSG account manager.
